Cassidy ... still didn't like the fact that Fandom sometimes played tricks on her with the weird timelines and other things.
You know, like bringing her children that called her Mommy.
Last year had not made it any less brain-breaky this year, though she at least recognized the wee witchling that was following her everywhere.
However, unexpected children did not mean she wouldn't be at work like she was supposed to.
"No, Calyn," she said for what seemed like the hundredth time. "We can't take that back to Kaeleer."
"Where's Daddy?"
Cassidy quietly made a whimpering noise.
