The Elements of Friendship, Thursday, Period 3
The students would enter the Danger Shop today to find a veritable winter wonderland. There was snow everywhere, lying in thick sheets across the land, covering tree branches and rooftops alike. There was a small, perfectly frozen pond, and a bright, cold sun, and everything was peaceful and quiet.
Of course, that wouldn't last long.
"Hey everypony! Over here!" Pinkie waved from the frozen pond, where she executed a perfect scratch spin. "Welcome to the very last day of winter!" She finished with a flourish, then skated over to the edge of the pond on all four of her skates. "Of course, technically spring doesn't start until next week, but I'm not actually sure we even had a winter in Fandom this year, so it probably evens out.
"Back in Equestria, the last day of winter is a big deal. Spring is so important in the lives of so many plants and animals that we have to make sure we clean up winter just right so spring can come on time! It's a lot of work, and in Ponyville, we don't even use any magic to get it all done, but it can be a whole lot of fun, too! We split up into three teams: the weather team, the animal team, and the plant team, so we can make sure we have everything covered. And today, you all get to do it, too!" Pinkie looked around. "Now, where did I put all those snow shovels?"
Yay! You get to clean up all this snow. Aren't you thrilled?
