Everyday Skills, Friday 2nd Period

When Oz's class made they way to class today, instead of their teacher, they would have found a disgruntled looking octopus in a fishtank on wheels, with a Speak & Spell attached to the side. Once the class had arrived, a tentacle slipped up and out of the tank to manipulate the Speak & Spell.

<WELL, KIDS, WE WERE GOING TO DO A CLASS ON HOW TO NOT TO FALL FOR SELF-HELP SCAMS BUT ELLIPSIS STUFF HAPPENED>

Juliet started out watching the octopus. But once she realized the movie was a musical set in New York, it had her attention.

Stephanie wasn't really paying that much attention to the movie at first; she was too busy eyeing the octopus.

Until she realized that, despite how it had nothing at all to do with what she was interested in, the movie might be useful stuff for her to know. Then she was paying attention.

And humming along.

Rapunzel was just a bit more subdued than usual. She still got really uncomfortable when the island went around changing people.

At least she assumed that the island was to blame. Mr. Oz hadn't given any sign that this was a normal thing for him.

Hanna had seen a lot of strange things here. An octopus using a Speak & Spell was possibly the strangest.
