The Club Fair, Gym, Friday Afternoon
For once, Jeremy actually came into the gym on purpose when the club fair was being set up. There was at least one club he knew he wanted to sign up for, after all.
So, he grabbed himself a copy of the club schedule, and set out to explore his options.

...
"What's a flash mob?"
Jim was one of only a tiny handful of Disney characters who wasn't actually prone to random sweeping musical numbers with all the townsfolk. Hell, he hadn't even felt inclined to sing when the rest of the island had been, last week.
Re: Talk to the Representatives – Anarchist Philanthropist Club [CF Spring 2012]
"It's where you get a text to show up somewhere to randomly sing and dance, freak people out, maybe bring attention to either the place or some kinda issue," Kenzi said, then grinned. "Or just the freaking people out part.... and hey. Abandoned warehouses with art on them would be okay, right?"
As long as they didn't have superheroes in them!
Re: Talk to the Representatives – Anarchist Philanthropist Club [CF Spring 2012]
He'd probably clear it with the mayor before they did any painting, and just not tell anyone from the club. He was trying not to add more dings to his multiversal permanent record while he was on the island, if he could help it. His months in space had mellowed him out slightly in that regard, if nothing else.
"I think the singing and dancing thing would probably work better if it was something we had time to rehearse for," he added. "Some of us aren't from Earth and don't really know all the songs, you know?"
Re: Talk to the Representatives – Anarchist Philanthropist Club [CF Spring 2012]
"Yeah, that's fair," she conceded. "Some people might be into it, some might not." She grinned. "Cool. What gave you guys the idea for this?"
Re: Talk to the Representatives – Anarchist Philanthropist Club [CF Spring 2012]
There was totally such a thing, dammit.
"It kind of just morphed into this from there."
One of the cupcakes made a burbling sound, opened two big eyes, and looked up at Jim expectantly. He reached down and gave it a pat on the... icing... And then shrugged again, for good measure.
"Not you, buddy."
Re: Talk to the Representatives – Anarchist Philanthropist Club [CF Spring 2012]
Kenzi's jaw dropped, and she stared at the... former cupcake. "Ummm?"
Re: Talk to the Representatives – Anarchist Philanthropist Club [CF Spring 2012]
And then burped.
"They don't all do that," Jim laughed, holding out his hand in front of the dessert in question. It looked at his hand for a moment, and then burbled happily at him before turning into a pink blob of goop and floating over to settle in it. "And I'd appreciate it if nobody ate this one. I'm kind of fond of him."

"Definitely nothing really fancy," Jim laughed, shaking his head. "That said... the Legacy is a pretty fine ship. I'd serve under Captain Amelia again in a heartbeat, if she asked me to."
...
"Maybe not as a cabin boy, though. Something with less mopping."
Re: Talk to the Representatives – Anarchist Philanthropist Club [CF Spring 2012]
"Mopping, bah. And yay, the Captain was a woman? Coooool. Where did you get to go?"
Re: Talk to the Representatives – Anarchist Philanthropist Club [CF Spring 2012]
"Pretty far from home," he replied. "We past a few galaxies, a nebula or two. It took a few months, but we made it all the way to Treasure Planet."
And then accidentally blew it up. As you do.

So, so many gold drubloons.
"I managed to get my hands on a map. So, you know... we went there."
Re: Talk to the Representatives – Anarchist Philanthropist Club [CF Spring 2012]
"And and and?"

"She won't be going back there," he replied. "The planet had a booby trap mechanism. If anyone made it to the inside and tripped it, it would... well... kind of blow up. A bit."
A lot. It had blown up. A lot.

It was a pretty good (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v406/Nanashigriff/454468-vlcsnap_00027_super.jpg) impression.
"It was a pretty big loss, though. But at least we made it out of there alive. It was a pretty close call."
Re: Talk to the Representatives – Anarchist Philanthropist Club [CF Spring 2012]
Give her a second to mourn, here, guys.
...okay, second's over.
"There's not like. Meteorites? With gold stuck to them now. Is there?"
