~~*handwave*~~ Grissom launches into a lecture on Out-of-Body Experiences ~~*handwave*~~

"Now unfortunately, I'm not allowed to give you all ketamine or put you through extreme sensory deprivation or a near death experience, so we can't replicate the condition as a lab assignment," Grissom says with a grin, because seriously, drugs are bad and he's obviously kidding.

"However, as out-of-body experiences are far more prevalent than many other types of paranormal activity, if any of you have had these experiences, or know someone who has, I'd like you to share. And if not, I'd ask you to discuss why or why not you believe in the concept."

Homework: Grissom hands out a packet to read for Wednesday. Very. Serious. Reading. ~~Kind of.~~ Also, please bring your jackets and weather appropriate clothes. As long as it doesn't rain, we'll be outside.

ooc- just so I know how many detentions Paige is likely to facing by the end of today what's gonna happen when she brings Cash to class?

I haven't been reading the comm, so I don't know what's up with Paige and Cash, but in general if a student brought a pet to class, Grissom would probably ask why if he hadn't approved it prior. Based off of that, if there was a very valid reason (seeing eye dog) to have the pet in class, he'd allow it. If there was only a semi-valid reason (dog babysitting) he wouldn't let the pet into the lab, as it isn't the safest place for a pet in general, but he'd probably let the dog/cat/pig/frog hang out in his office or the office kitchen, or right outside if it was nice out and that was possible.

If there's some plotty thing, however, I can't really say how'd Grissom would react without knowing more :)

It's not a big plotty thing no, but as Geoff is away Paige is looking after Cash since he's a 3 month old puppy who's going through a lot of upheavel (spelling?) and she just doens't want to leave him alone, I can sort out another dog sitter though cos I'd rather her not have more than one detention given in one day! Otherwise him staying in the office would be good, he's well behaved, and super cute, look! :D

Nah, I've decided Grissom is puppy friendly as it is ~~as the mun is currently in the throes of puppy lust, and I say so~~, so if Paige explains that situation to Grissom quickly when she comes in, he'll toss her the keys to his office (which has a door in the back to a kitchen/break area behind it) and she could make him comfortable with a little bowl of water and stuff. There would even be dog food, as many of his bugs are fed it! w00t!

And the office isn't a scary as it used to be, now that it is shared with Lorelai, so it would be puppy friendly, as it's baby friendly. All breakable/dangerous/scary living things are out of reach, etc.
