Creature Languages, 02/06, Period 3

"Hello.

I hope you all enjoyed speaking with Racso on Thursday. You showed a nice grasp of conversational Rat.

For class today, I would like for you to pair up with someone you have not worked with in this class before and attempt to carry on a conversation in Rat about the events of this past weekend.

I am told there was singing. You do not need to sing in Rat.

Take notes on your conversations, as they will feed into a group project we will begin on Thursday.

I will be holding office hours this afternoon should you have questions.

Paige almost laughs, they don't seem to have a word for poet but all the cheeses are right there!

//I like cheddar best, bread crumbs are...dry. You like best?//

Yeah, rats seem to have foodstuffs pretty well covered.

//I like brie and also pie.//

//Yes good pie at Jeff, God of Biscuits//

Vala does a double-take, but yes, there is actually a direct rat translation for the store. She shrugs. It made a certain sense... if the local rats were going to bother with any place in town, that would be it.

(NP! Was fun. ;-)

((it was indeed, and I notice the direct translation included 'Jeff' not 'Geoff' so Paige was totally within her rights to say his name in English! *is going to bed, not really!*))
