Chloe notices the uncomfortableness, and goes to back Veronica up. "I agree. There's a big difference between someone who does something newsworthy without thinking about it, or maybe even without wanting to do it, and with someone who chooses to go into a career where they know there's a chance they'll become a celebrity."
