Rita smiled at the three students. "All right. How do you think your bias influenced your work in the last assignment? Do you think you were still too lenient with your loved ones, or were you perhaps harsher to overcompensate? Is it really possible to ever escape a bias? Discuss."

"I think I might have been a little swayed, but I also think that asking people to write on something they feel strongly about is wrong," Rory frowned. "I mean, isn't that like, conflict of interest or something?"

"I don't think you can escape a bias when it comes to loved one," John says. "There's too much stuff to really be objective on one issue. I tried to do that with Aeryn but it was hard and I think mine still came out as towards her. It's hard to write something negative about someone you love. I'm sure when you talk badly about Wilbur, it hurts."

John's about to automatically answer 'no' when something hits him. "Professor, you didn't turn Mr. Skeeter into an animal to protect his identity, did you?"

"So, Mr. Skeeter is hidden in plain sight?" John eyes the classroom suspiciously. "I'm sorry you feel you have to conceal him from us, Professor. I'm sure it's hard not to be able to show all of your classes the love you have for him."
