Tell the class about a paranormal event that happened in your own world or at Fandom High, and how it was or could be explained away as something normal. Give me your written essay at the end of class."

Lana turns in an essay about a kid who got turned into a giant human bug-thing due to bites from insects contaminated by meteor rocks and how he abducted her and wrapped her in a cocoon for some nefarious purpose (which she chooses not to mention). And how everyone in town just kind of pretended it hadn't happened.

Marty relates the story of how Dr. Grissom scientifically explained Zombie Weekend (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/340973.html?thread=16382445#t16382445)

Angela writes a hundred words about a girl she met the Christmas before who seemed to be a ghost, and who actually told Angela's mom she was dead, and who very few people seemed to be able to see, but who lead her to be able to save some homeless kids before disappearing.

She still has no idea how to explain it other than the MSCL writers wanted a sappy Christmas episode.

Lyta turns in an essay, discussing the death of Ambassador Kosh her mentor. She describes how, during her mentor's death, her mentor appeared to Captain Sheridan a mutual friend in his dreams. This friend retained a portion of the mentor's essence and the knowledge within this essence saved the friend's life. In the end, it wasn't completely covered up... but only a small group of people ever knew the full explanation.

Walter turns in a story of a vampire that turned the entirety of a small English village into ghouls and how, after every unliving thing in the village was viciously (but playfully) slaughtered by a certain young butler and his vampire friend, the Hellsing organization stepped in to explain to the newspapers that the town had been destroyed by German bombers.

Jessica hands in an essay explaining how her and her sister once believed that their family was put under a curse, as means to explain the rather bizarre and often unbelievable misfortunes that fell upon them. Although Jessica's essay is hard to decipher as the thoughts seem incomplete or unconnected, the phrases "quite unpleasant," as well as "alien abduction," "demonic possession," and "mind-controlling cult" appear quite a bit.

Since Piper has not seen anything paranormal in her hometown yet, she turns in an essay about her strange experiences at Fandom High, incuding her issues with gremlins.

Shep is still flailing over this assignment. To the best of his knowledge, the Stargate project is just A Big Secret and hasn't needed covering up. On Atlantis, they took weird for granted and sought to explain it and study it, not make things up about it. But he reasonably sure he can't really explain that to anyone.

The paranormal had never really been a big part of her life before she came here. So she hands in an essay on meeting a supposedly-dead friend when she first came here, and how mentioning this incident on the phone to her brother resulted in a massive operation to convince her parents she wasn't crazy. She hasn't actually suceeded in this yet. Anyone need the number of a therapist? Her mother has recommended several.

Cordy writes a lovely essay on how some students at Sunnydale High were possessed by some weird hyenas and took over the school, and how everyone around just kind of avoided the subject, even though they killed the principal. She doesn't mention that Xander was one of the hyenas, but she may have hinted at it slyly.

Stark turns in an essay detailing one of the many, many times that something odd happened, like him hearing the voices of dead people or plants when nobody else did, and everyone else just wrote it off as him being crazy. But he's not. Much. Or so he claims.

Paige hands in her essay, which goes into details of how demons look human and seem to disappear when you throw a fireball at them, thus making it pretty easy to deny their existance.
