Lorelai Gilmore is, at times, scatterbrained and flighty. It can be difficult to rely on her for more than coffee and banter, unless you happen to be her daughter or husband. At times, her sense of humor is out of place, and she's been known to be disrespectful to those to whom she should show utmost courtesy.

In many ways, she's like a sixteen year-old in a thirty-three year-old body.

It’s very hard to communicate with Aeryn Sun at times. She doesn’t like to talk, yet, when she is upset, I have a difficult time helping because I don’t know what’s wrong. When I try to get her to open up and talk to me, she has snapped at me, clammed up, or gotten angry with me. Sometimes, being mute around her is best.

Also, Professor Skeeter is married.
