Lunch: 1/30/06

The happy humming from the kitchen today might be interspersed with occasional worrisome chuckles. Today's menu is written in neat block letters:

- Fettucine Alfredo (with chicken and/or broccoli)

- Steamed Carrots

- Roast Beast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding

- Pad Thai

- Minestrone

Dessert:
- Lemon Sherbet

- Snow Cones

Walter really hoped that it was Victor's foot creeping up his leg and not anyone else's. He kept his eyes on the table's occupants and nodded along with the conversation, although he wasn't really paying much attention any longer.

The foot crept further and further, until Victor's toes were rubbing nicely in Walter's lap. Y'know, for warmth.

That had definitely better be Victor or someone was losing a foot.

A glimpse of Victor's face was enough to answer that question and Walter took a deep breath while staring down at his food.

Victor stopped abruptly, then retracted and leaned down to put his shoe back on, all the while grinning at his boyfriend.

Walter bit his lip and looked back down at his tray. Not blushing. No.

My what a fascinating lunch.

See what happens when you steal my broccoli?

He wanted to say it so badly, but figured that if he did Walter would find some way to steal his broccoli again and...well...the radio would end up having a field day.

So, instead, he simply resumed his lunch.
