Medical Post: The Gym

Susan, Zhaan, and others have numerous cots set up with dividers, and a table with their instruments in one corner of the gym. They are treated the injured and preparing for more casualties. After some quick and hasty introductions, they got ready for any incoming patients and hoped there wouldn't be any.


ETA: Post is closed to new play as of 11:22 EST. If you're injured, come into the clinic tomorrow-- the doctors are as fried as their players.

The Doctor and his plus one--this time a claymore--head over to the table. He has a bad cut across his nose and cheek. "Probably need a stitch or two, but it'll have to wait."

He can't seem to sit still, and is obviously looking for someone.

Meanwhile, Grissom enters the gym to see if he can help render any medical aid. He certainly shouldn't be performing surgery, but he certainly knows enough about basic anatomy and emergency response to assist those who are more properly trained.

"Can I help you?" Susan frowned. "Wait, you're one of the teachers here-- I think I saw you in the faculty lounge last week. I'm Susan Pevensie."

"Not bleeding yet, but thank you. Gil Grissom, Sociology."

"Ah. Well, we're trying to keep the area clear for medical personnel-- you don't have training, do you?" Susan asked hopefully pointing downward to the OOC thread, so people could ping Gil if he's signing up, yays.

"In a manner of speaking..." Grissom hedges. "I was a coroner, and worked in law enforcement, so I have first response training. I thought you might need an extra hand?"

But he's really here with that excuse so he can give The Doctor dangerous chemicals. He can come back though.

"Yes, please, we're going to need all the help we can get." Just sign him in, say his expertise, and we'll ping if we need you. Gracias.

The Doctor jumps up and dashes over to him, sword still on his belt. "Just who I wanted to see. Dr Grissom."

Grissom winces at the nasty gash across The Doctor's face, but immediately catching on to The Doctor's tone, his response is fast and serious.

"What do you need?"

"Sodium. As much of it as you have secure. Probably won't be enough, and I don't have the materials here to synthesise it..." He trails off slightly. "But it's worth a shot."

He hands him a set of keys.

"The long gold key unlocks my lab. Glass cabinets that run along the wall bordering the hallway. I can break into the Science labs with the least amount of repercussions, and grab some more supplies. Anything else, and where should I meet you for a drop-off?"

The Doctor takes the keys and nods. "Right. Meet me..." He cocks his head, thinking. "On the way to the roof (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/572795.html?thread=27483515#t27483515), say, in 30 minutes? And bring some gloves for people to use, and any sturdy elastic, if you have it."

"Perhaps, but is there a reason? Can I help you with something else?" Susan offered as she came over to the front table.

"Just spotted him...unless you happen to keep sodium on hand." Ten tries to smile at her, but winces as it moves the drying blood on his face.

"Why on earth do you want sodium?" Susan looks confused, then follows his gaze over to CJ and Blair. "And you can wait one more moment while I make sure that's not contaminated. Hold still."

Susan smiles, and offers him an anti-septic band-aid. "Very well. If you don't need assistance, please, keep clear of the medical personnel."

"Of course." He doesn't realise he's repeating himself, and pulls Grissom to one side (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/573150.html?thread=27444446#t27444446), out of the way.
