Medical Post: The Gym

Susan, Zhaan, and others have numerous cots set up with dividers, and a table with their instruments in one corner of the gym. They are treated the injured and preparing for more casualties. After some quick and hasty introductions, they got ready for any incoming patients and hoped there wouldn't be any.

ETA: Post is closed to new play as of 11:22 EST. If you're injured, come into the clinic tomorrow-- the doctors are as fried as their players.

Dallas strode into the gym.

"Cold. Need warm. Please?" she said, shivering uncontrollably.

Notcing the young woman, Zhaan headed for her. Noting the not-quite normal palor and blue lips, she took her arm and steered her to a cot. "We need to warm you quickly."

"Yes. Are you cold too?" Dallas asked, shivering. "Blue, I mean."

"Not normally, no." A slight smile playing at her lips, Zhaan added another blanket and took the girl's hands in her own, closing her eyes a moment to regulate her body temperature slightly warmer than normal and chafing them.

"Thanks," Dallas muttered. "This place? Is kinda batshit. Y'all know that, right?"

Zhaan chuckled. "It seems to be so." She tilted her head while assessing the girl's color. "I'm not certain that a quiet town would be as interesting, however."

"Definitely not," Dallas agreed, her teeth lessening their chattering. "But this place makes Basin City look sane. And that is saying something."

Warming her hands a little more, Zhaan smiled, "I admit this is quite a bit stranger than anything I've encountered."

"Snow. Monsters. Yes. Weird."

The monochromatic girl in the mask and cowgirl outfit nodded. This was very strange.

"I suppose it could be stranger." Zhaan mused. "I'm told the rites on the planet Al'eh'ca include people turning themselves into fruit."

"I'm not even going to make the obvious joke there," Dallas sighed.

Zhaan smiled and reached out to touch the woman's skin, nodding in approval at the improvement in temperature. "How are you feeling?"

"Better, thanks," Dallas nodded. "I'm Dallas, by the way."

"Zhaan. And you're welcome." Standing, Zhaan considered. "Stay here, and if you begin to feel chilly again, let us know."

"Real smooth, Dallas," Wendy called from where she was having her ankle tended. By a handsome blond firefighter. Yes. Life was good.
