Medical Post: The Gym

Susan, Zhaan, and others have numerous cots set up with dividers, and a table with their instruments in one corner of the gym. They are treated the injured and preparing for more casualties. After some quick and hasty introductions, they got ready for any incoming patients and hoped there wouldn't be any.


ETA: Post is closed to new play as of 11:22 EST. If you're injured, come into the clinic tomorrow-- the doctors are as fried as their players.

Jarod ran over to the food tables, and dumped out one of the chafing dishes, which he then filled with an inch of water, lighting the sterno underneath them. He then placed the block o' Lockheed in the dish of water, covering him with a couple of towels.

"Thank you, Jarod," Tick said. "I figure he'll probably be fine since he has a firely center, but thawing him out quickly would be for the best, of course."

The block of Lockheed was melting faster than normal due to his firey center indeed.

Jarod wrung out the towel into the dish, then replaced it to absorb more of the heat from the firey-centered frozen dragon.

"You're welcome. Has he sustained other injuries? Because I don't know anything about dragon physiology."

"No, just frozen. He melted a couple snowmen before getting hit." Tick smiled. "He did well."

Lockheed thawed a little more.

"Good for him." Jarod looked at the melting ice. "Now we just wait, I guess."

After a while, the ice melted enough from Lockheed to break the rest of it off. And then he gave a cute little dragon sneeze. Poor guy.

"You fought well, chum!" Tick told Lockheed.

Jarod bent down to look at the dragon. "Do you hurt anywhere? Just nod or point or something, since I don't speak your language."

Lockheed shook his head. And sneezed again. He looked like he was probably feeling the effects of a cold.

"Poor guy. I think there's some soup around here somewhere. Would you like some?"

Lockheed nodded pitifully. If he was sick, he was going to work it.

Jarod went to a heated cauldron of chicken soup and spooned some into a bowl, bringing it back to Lockheed. "That good?"

Lockheed smiled and nodded. He started to eat the soup. He slurped quite a bit.

"Thank you, Jarod. I think he'll be just fine now," Tick said. "Go on and help out other people now."
