Medical Post: The Gym

Susan, Zhaan, and others have numerous cots set up with dividers, and a table with their instruments in one corner of the gym. They are treated the injured and preparing for more casualties. After some quick and hasty introductions, they got ready for any incoming patients and hoped there wouldn't be any.

ETA: Post is closed to new play as of 11:22 EST. If you're injured, come into the clinic tomorrow-- the doctors are as fried as their players.

Wendy leans on Tommy perhaps more than is strictly necessary as he helps her to a chair (cot? chair). "Well, thank you very much, Tommy Gavin."

Minor injuries got chairs. Even Tommy's hormones could prioritize. "So what happened? Get hit by one of those monsters?"

He knelt down to take a look at her foot. There was almost no looking up her skirt while he was there. Almost.

"Hey, that'll cost ya. No." She blushed, turning a darker shade of grey. "I overbalanced. So, is it broken?" It's not broken.

As Tommy examined her foot he was surprised to discover the grey wasn't some kind of makeup or ash that wasn't coming off.

Hoookay. Add it to the list of WTF and deal with it later.

"Not broken," he said. He wrapped it up with a bandage. "Little swollen. Keep it elevated. Ice it and you'll be fine. Though around here everything's a god damn ice cube so just keep it elevated."

Wendy laughed. "Thanks, Tommy Gavin. You new around here or what?" She didn't think he had anywhere else to be, but if he did, well, she'd been blown off before. Actually, that was a lie. She'd never been blown off before. But these were extreme circumstances.

"Just this week," he said. He took his time with that bandage. Had to be careful after all. "So far I've met vampires, green guys, every faggot on this island, snow monsters, and you."

"You poor man. Sounds like you could use some...stress relief." Wendy's positively purring. Then, "Ow."

"Maybe," Tommy said. "That the kind of service you provide without a fee?"

"After you fixed up my ankle so pretty, I'm sure we could work something out."

"Miho won't like it," the hooker being treated for hypothermia called.

"Miho ain't here, Dally. She probably got eaten by a snow thing."

Dallas is unpersuaded. "Zombie snowman Miho won't like it."

"You work for one of the snowmen?" Tommy asked. He didn't know why that of all details was the one that got his attention.

"No, we work for a scary little ninja that doesn't talk. And a girl with blue eyes. It's weird. They didn't come up here. Miho's probably having the time of her life right now chopping up snow things."

"Unless she got turned into one," Dally adds.

"In which case we're all screwed."

"Mute ninjas, of course," Tommy said, as though that was the last bit of WTF bingo he'd been waiting for today. "Why not?"

"Oh, she can talk. At least, we're...pretty sure she can talk. Never actually heard her. But don't we have better things to talk about?"

Tommy grinned at her. Then he saw how many people were coming in. "Maybe some other time, Wendy. I gotta take a look at those assholes."

Wendy sighed and settled back in her chair. Maybe one of the other girls would get injured and she could mock them.
