Office hours

She's hanging out in her office, staring out the window. This much snow makes her homesick...for DC. If she had better gloves, she'd go out and throw snowballs at Josh's office window, but she doesn't, so she doesn't. Earbuds in, she is NOT listening to something other than punk. Certainly not The Carpenters, which she doesn't sing along with either.

"How do I always do that...?" He leans into her a little and strokes her back. Within the realms of properity. "Love, I suppose. And likewise."

She smiles softly and arches back into his caress. "Love, huh? That would explain it."

His grin is slightly rakish. "One would think. When do you get through here?"

"I have some grading to on the 201 speeches. I was hoping to be out before 7th."

"I was hoping we could...maybe...go to dinner?" He ruffles his hair, looking nervous.

"Dinner? Sure, I guess. I was kind of hoping to take blankets up to the school and sleep in my office to maybe sit by the fire and drink some cocoa. And maybe go make snow angels in the park..."

"We could do that too. Anything, as long as it's you and me together." There's a sincere sappy grin on his face.

"Together sounds like the best plan ever. If it wasn't snowing..." she leans in close to whisper in his ear, "...I'd suggest the beach again."

He laughs a little and leans further into her touch. "Then how about a rain check? Isn't that the term?"

She smiles softly and leans against him.

"Yeah, a rain check."

She kisses him softly.
