Office Hours (Friday, 1/27/2006)

Jenny had trudged through the snow, bundled up in a pair of jeans, a thick sweater and a jacket over that, and her face had been practically hidden by a scarf and a cap. All of which were dripping off a coatstand in the corner of her office.

She was only here so Elizabeth could make up her missing Psych 101 class, and so that her Magical Theory students could update her on their progress.

"See, and what's this about hockey?" asked Jenny, shaking her head as she put her laptop in its case. "Football, hello! Very all-American, very manly, very much a game of strategy. Better than guys with sticks whacking around a little black puck."

She tried to hide her grin.

Mac puts a mock-horrified look on his face. "Are you saying that hockey is un-manly? I think I might be offended."

Jenny laughed. "I'm saying it's un-American, actually. What, are you a Canadian sympathizer or something?"

"Un-American? Hockey?" Mac gave Jenny a mock-suspicious look. "Are you and I from the same dimension?"

Jenny pretended to think. "No, as a matter of fact, I don't think we are," she said. She shouldered her laptop case and grabbed her coat, scarf and hat, then went over to the door to take his hand. "Wanna take me away from it all to someplace warm?"
