History of Art / Studio Art Combined Studio | Jan 27, Periods 5&6

As the students came into class, they would be able to see large photographic prints of Greek Statuary, as well several draperies and what looked suspiciously like white body paint. There are also a number of sketchpads and cameras.

"Okay kids, I want the History of Art students to split up into three groups of three and one of four.

"Once you're in your group, I want you to pick a statue and recreate it as accurately as possible, using the paint, the drapes and one of your group. Although please keep your clothes on. This is, after all, a school.

"Meanwhile, I want the studio art students to each take a camera and a sketchbook, and draw and photograph the History of Art students while they work. Try and work on cropping, balance and placement when taking photos. And it goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway. Keep it clean."

Barbossa frowned. "Someone be the front part, someone be the back, someone else be the tiny nekkid boy? And I get t' be the tree in the background?"

He sound a little too hopeful that this would the way things would sort out.

"I'm not going to be the ass end, however it works out," Krycek said quickly.

"Dibs on the front!"

"I'm littlest..." Rory noted. "So, I guess I'm the little cherub thing by default?"

Krycek eyed Bridge. "...I hate you." He turned the look on Barbossa. "I'll be the tree."

"No you don't!" Bridge smiled at Krycek.

Krycek snorted and eyed Bridge suspiciously ~~omg how does he know?~~. "Anyway, so we've all got our positions. Bridge, do you want your shirt painted on, or do you want to take it off?"

Bridge looked down at his uniform shirt. Cruger would probably be really, really mad if he got paint all over it.

So he shrugs and wriggles out of the shirt.

Rory politely averted her eyes, blushing. Because she's a good girl.

Krycek nodded and fetched some paint as well as some of the drapes. "Okay, let's get you whited-out. Rory, mind lending a hand?"

Jake wandered over to them, grinned at the conversation and sat down crosslegged on the floor and began sketching them.

Rory took a brush and carefully began work painting one of Bridge's shoulders, progressively turning a deeper shade of red.

"Hey, it's pretty cold in here -- Rory, you might want to be careful with the brush when you get to his chest there," Krycek noted mildly as he painted Bridge's back.

Barbossa snickered, then grabbed a brush and began to help.

Bridge squirms a little 'cause the paintbrushes tickle, yo.

"So, um, are we painting anyone else?" Rory asked, crossing her arms across her chest instinctively.

"Barbossa's going to be covered in a sheet, as will I, so you're the only other one." Krycek smirked. "I think you could get away with just painting your face though."

Barbossa sighed. "Leavin' me as the horse's ass." He shrugged. "Not like I be not accused bein' that before. This time it jes be slightly more literal."
