Sex Cultures: 6th Period

Grissom has a headache so he, without explanation, pulls a TV unit in and screens some old school sex-ed and hygiene films for the students, which certainly wasn't on the syllabus yet.

Dating: Dos and Don'ts
How to Say No: Moral Maturity
As Boys Grow

He feels the need to share his own high school torment with the youth of today. Or in some cases, the youth of eternity. Whatever.

Then he assigns The Role of Theory in Sex Research, which is 368 pages of absolutely no fun whatsoever, for the weekend.

She turns and nods, "Yeah I'm pretty much back to normal now thanks, can we start again next week?"

Pip nods back. "No problem. Somehow everyone else I was teaching came down with a disease or got injured or something anyway. I like to think of it as my last fling with free time."

She laughs slightly, "yeah I illness gave me a little free time too, shame I spent most of it in bed, and erm not in the good way. I have to work at Chaucer's tonight, then I have to open the clinic tomorrow, plus do this homework!"

"Blech. This thing he's giving us is freaking huge as well. What's Chaucer's? I don't think I've stopped by there yet."

She looks at the book and nods, "That's my weekend filled I guess." she stops and tries to work out how to explain the shop.

"Well you can get poetry, and coats of arms and stuff, he'll research your hertiage," she stops and laughs, "or just make one up for you. Oh and there's a gambling room too." Yep she knows a lot abot the place, having practically lived there for quite a while.

"I can tell him my heritage. The Bernadettes. We fight for cash. Still, gambling sounds like it might be a good way to get some entertainment out of any excess cash I might one day get."

She grins then, "I think Geoff'd like that, the last game he held there didn't go so well I think he'd be happy to be able to actually play a game of cards without a fight happening."

Depending on how perceptive Pip, he might notice the fact Paige talks about Geoff with an amazing amount of fondness and occasionally awe.

"Aww. Those are the best kind of card games. How did you get that job? What do you do around the shop, exactly?"

"Same way anyone gets a job, I applied, and I just open the shop take commissions and write out his poetry to make it look more...presentable."

She pauses and sighs, "It's my first day today, so I'm not sure how it'll be, it used to be pretty quiet" she doesn't explain how she knows this of course.

"So it's not quiet any longer?" Pip asks.

"Guess I'll find out today, I'm guessing a few people might want poetry for Valentine's day, I should probably speak to him about that actually, see if he wants me to help promote his skills, although I guess he's pretty busy now, he teaches here, that's why he needed people to work there." she explains
