Lunch: 1/26/06

Happy humming can be heard from the cafeteria kitchen today. A rather surprisingly legible menu is placed out for the students to peruse.

Liver with a side of fava beans

Shepherd's Pie

Sweetbreads

Sausage Pizza

Lady Fingers

Jell-o (in Cherry, Strawberry, and Raspberry)

"Not bad. You?"

Han pokes at his food a little. It doesn't do anything weird, so he takes a bite. "I wouldn't mind having him here all the time."

"Oh you know." Maia said taking a sip off her soda. "Got detention again?" She said taking a bite now of her Shepards Pie.

The wicked gleam in his eye says he wouldn't mind trying. "Why, you want to join me?"

Maia laughed "Depends on who has it but I was thinking of maybe just getting into harmless fun this weekend to be honest." She returned the wicked smile "The kind that involves not getting out of bed until Monday morning."

Maia laughed "Oh you know, Chiana is pretty good for that activity but" She smiled at him and tilts her head "Looking is always fun as I recall from the swimming pool."

"Chiana is always fun." He grins back. "Don't seem to recall you looking. Looked like you were pretty busy with Sawyer."

He pokes at his food a little more and thinks. "Of course, you know you can do more than just look if you want."

"Oh I saw you and your unique attributes as for Sawyer" Maia raised and eyebrow and then left it alone taking a bite of her pie. "Really?" Maia sounded amused by Hans proposition.

He changes the subject, not really wanting to be overheard and chastised. "How're classes treating you?"

Maia smiled "Well I think I would like to be included on that actually. I mean..." Maia looked around and noticed all the people she simply winked at him.

"They are better, C.J. is finally back to normal so that's a relief for me at least. I have a weakness for redheads" Maia said with a laugh "And white headed monochromed types." She giggled now drinking her soda again. "How about you? Anything interesting in them?"

Han blinks a time or two and it all falls into place. "oh shit..." He has apparently picked up head-desking from other students as well.

Maia raised an eyebrow at him unsure of what caused the 'oh shit' She glanced around at the students and coughed a little to clear her throat "Um..." Maia was unsure of what to say now. Maybe he didn't know about her and Chiana were seriously lovers...but how could he not everyone did....She frowned in confusion. "Um...are you ok?" she decided that was the safest question to ask.

"Fine" comes from where where his face is still planted on the table. "Lucky to be in one frelling piece after snuggling and smoking with CJ up on Galactica Point. She just said to call her Claudia."

He lifts his face. "I got a weakness for redheads ,too. And blondes. And long black hair with big eyes. And monochromatic...tralks? is that the word...who like handsome spacers."

Maia's spine stiffened a little at hearing Han call Chiana a tralk. "She isn't a tralk." Maia said her eyes flashing a little darkly at Han. "And yeah that was C.J." Maia shook her head "Apparently I was one of the few people who actually knew that or something."

"Guess that wasn't the right word. Just the word I'd heard her use. Anyway, whatever you call really pretty girls who like sex and aren't shy about it like most these earth girls fake being. It's a great thing."

He starts on the tiramisu. "She wasn't too talkative about who she was." He tries to remember where the conversation was.

Maia nodded "Yeah I know she uses it." Maia said in a quiet voice. Letting it go because Han couldn't possibly know it was a sore spot with Maia she smiled at him. "So would I be an earth girl like that?" Maia was curious now, she loved sex with Chiana and sex with Pip had been interesting. "And no Chiana is not talkative about who she is or do you mean C.J.?"

"I'd say you'd be a girl like that. Most of the others are all 'oh no I couldn't, giggle giggle.' You and Chiana and a few others are 'yeah, sure, sounds like fun.' I like the second kind of girl. I meant CJ. She didn't even tell me she was CJ. I don't think I'd have cuddled her quite so much if she had."

Maia smiled at Han's compliment, "Yeah its better without all the ties you know." Maia shook her head "I got burned once I don't intend on it happening again."

Maia raised an eyebrow "Wow you cuddled her." Maia leaned a little closer "Damn all I could do was blush around her." Maia said shaking her head and laughing. "You got a lot further then I ever would, of course...well you didn't know it was a teacher." Maia started to laugh now.

Han laughs too. It is pretty funny in retrospect, especially given his history with CJ. He's finished his lunch.

"Seriously, Maia, any time you and Chiana want, just let me know. You know where to find me." He winks "Detention."

Maia smiled. "Well it would make the time in detention go a hell of a lot faster I'll give you that." She said giggling. She wanted to ask him other things but there were other people around so she decided against it. Instead she ate her tiramisu slowly and studied Han for a moment.
