First Meeting of Science Club

The first meeting of Science Club will start now. If you are new and want to sign-up, the Science Club Bulletin Board and applications are next to the Bio Room in the Science Wing.

I managed to grab a few microwaves that people were just leaving on the sidewalks in town during the last big moving period. Why let them go to waste by letting them end up in a landfill?

I dragged them out back behind the school, so if anything blows up, Ms. Sidle won't freak out too much Principal Connor won't pop a cap in our asses no one will get hurt.

Grab a Microwave and Conduct Your Own Experiment.

Please write a quick report and let us know how your experiment goes so we can all learn from your experience. You might want to find another club partner to work with, just in case.

Also, feel free to leave any suggestions for future projects. Ix-nay on the uclear-nay omb-bays, though.

::takes microwave::

I'll be back with a report in several hours.

[[OOC: In reality I have RL stuff, but I wanted Roy to make an appearance as he is a member of the Science Club.]]

"I've taken your words to heart. (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhighdorms/31731.html) Nothing was set on fire outside the school grounds. Yet.

My experiment worked even better than expected, considering I've never even seen a microwave until today. I tried for the ball of lightning experiment, and personalized it with a bit of alchemy. I did get a ball of lightning. It did bounce around uncontrollably.

Unfortunately, I might have put a little too many angles in my transmutation circle on the candle. The ball of lightning was...bigger than expected, and completely uncontrollable."

Mustang is actually lying with the last part, because the ball of lightning is exactly the size he wanted it to be-- something he's feeling pretty pleased with himself for-- but he realizes that saying so aloud might not be the wisest thing to do.
