The second class in the room of the day, Seimei spent a few moments with Mitsumishi, straightening the pillows and tables in preparation for the class.

He sank to the floor and pulled out another scroll, and with his brush, wrote in large letter the following:

River walks in, looking at her wrist chrono, and sinks gracefully onto one of the classroom floor-pillows. Without further ado, she gets a mechanical pencil, a clipboard, and a college-ruled notebook from her haversack, then waits for the lecture to begin.

Elizabeth walked into class and sat next to River, smiling slightly. She took out a piece of parchment and a quill and started taking notes, working on the discussion question.

Jubilee saunters into the room, trying to chew her bubble gum at a polite level as she plops down onto a pillow not far from River. She pulls a rolled-up pink notebook and a pen from her coat, puts the notebook on her lap, and leans over to look at the discussion question ...

... only to swallow her gum a second later as her brain freezes over from all of the attempting to think.

Aeryn stares at the scroll in a near-panic (as near to panic as Aeryn can get).

"What's an Egypt?" she asks.

"It's a country in the Eastern part of the planet Earth," Phoebe says to her with a smile as she puzzles over the class question.

"Right," Aeryn says, "thanks..."

She continues to stare at her paper, then writes anything, because the teacher probably won't understand her language anyway.

Subaru stumbles into the room, gasping for breath.

"I - there was - and - I'm - sorry!"

He bows quickly, and sits down on the nearest pillow, promptly taking out a notebook and pencil from his bag. Stares at the question, his eyes widening, then narrowing. Determined, he hunches over his paper and begins writing.
