The tea is twenty cents ... half price is ten cents. The corn flakes at half price are ... $0.27.5, which isn't real money, so I guess I should round up to $0.28. And then the apple is 24 percent off, so $0.76. 10 plus 28 plus 76 is 114.
"I think my breakfast is $1.14," she tells Charlie as she collects the apple, corn flakes and tea.
