Walter had a pretty good idea by this point what a "thinking about kissing you" face looked like. A quick series of calculations passed through his head, eventually evening out as getting a kiss = happy boyfriend and a nice kiss versus ignoring it = potentially hurting boyfriend's feelings and no kiss.

He leaned closer in a hopefully fairly obvious manner.

He leaned in closer in a very obvious manner and gave Walter the sweetest kiss he could manage. When he was done, he pulled back and said, "Maybe I should've had the turkey."

Turkey?

Walter blinked at Victor. He'd had to tune everything out to avoid feeling self-conscious about kissing in the middle of the cafeteria and now wondered if he'd missed something important about the turkey.

"Turkey?"

"Yeah...you know? You taste like turkey," he explained, pointing at Walter's tray.

Walter grinned and cut a piece of turkey, holding it out to Victor on his fork.

"Feeling stubborn?"

"Well, it's no tiramisu, but..." he took the bite anyway, making a point to take it off the fork nice and slowly. Then, he licked the tip of the utensil before eating the meat.

"Tastes good," he commented innocently.

Walter was not in the least bit transfixed by Victor's turkey-consumption techniques, not having his mind in the gutter in the least.

He cleared his throat and took a drink of water. "So, ~~who~~ what are you doing tonight?"

"Well, we have Self-Defense class tonight," Victor reminded, "and that is pretty much it. Why, what do you have planned?"

"Nothing much. Do you have any more movies we could watch? We could even take them out to the common room if you feel like company. I have had enough looking for excitement in town this week if none is going to happen."

"Yeah, I have some more movies. If you want to take them to the common room, that is fine. Or, we could watch them in the room. Either way." He shrugged.

And anyone who knows a 14-year-old knows he's mentally crossing his fingers.

Walter shrugged. "I need to bring Pup along. If you don't mind him in your room, we can watch there. It's more comfortable, anyway."

More comfortable. Right.

Victor grinned. "Nah, I don't mind. Pup's cool. How about we watch the second part of Master of the Chain?"

"That sounds brilliant. I still can't believe that a lot of that movie is just computers."

If it weren't such a mess in town, he'd run down to that bistro for takeout of gelato and tiramisu.

"I will meet you there after self defense? I will just need to stop by my room for a quick shower and to pick up Pup."
