Shop Class

Today the classroom looks like a regular shop class again. Various materials have been pulled out of the storage room and the shop equipment has been set up.

Given how excited the students were about eating the food in the cooler in the last class, Mac has supplied an assortment of baked goods from Jeff the God of Biscuits and coffee.

Whether or not the coffee was made by one of the students previous projects? Mac isn't telling.

"Today's assignment is to build something that will assist one of your fellow students in their day to day life here in fandom."

Duo thinks for a minute about what to make, then he remembers recent events and gets an idea.

He opens up an old can of hairspray and removes the nozzle piece with the valve, then connects it to a cut piece of tubing. He finds another can-like container and messes around welding some metal until the nozzle with the tube can be attached at the top. First, though, he pours some baking soda into the can, and then puts the tube in the can and seals the nozzle to the top. Using one of the the high pressured pumps in the shop's collection of equipment, he pumps in some gas until it pressurizes. Lastly, he tapes a piece of paper on the outside of the can with a smiley face sticking its tongue out drawn next to the words, "For all Your Alchemic Oops-es." He presents it to Mac.

"A fire extinguisher." Duo says with a grin. "For the Elric brothers."
