Rita sat on her desk, checking her lipstick in a compact.

"Good morning, girls and...boy. Today's an easy day. I want you to tell the class what you investigated, and what you discovered. Was it difficult to get people to open up to you? Did you even talk to people, actually? Or did you go the surreptitous route of avoiding human contact?"

She waved at a tray on her desk.

"And do turn in your written findings, please."

"I was in the library trying to get source material for class tomorrow and the information I want about the Jedi is kept in Special Collections." He stopped staring at his boots. "I was wondering if you might be able to write me a note to allow me access to it. Please?"

Rita raised a brow, and picked up her wand.

She idly flicked it in the direction of the green quill on her desk.

A second later, she handed Anakin a note.

Please allow the light-footed Mr. Anakin Skywalker to visit Special Collections. He is reasearching a rather unique and fascinating project for my class, and his work in that branch of the library will surely be an attempt to prove his masculinity and heterosexuality. Ergo, as I am always open to my students trying to challenge obvious truths, I am more than happy to grant my permission.

Anakin read the note and choked.

"Thank you," he said, red to his ears.
