Par for the course, she's got her earphones in and she's on the internet. The player is loaded full of The Ramones, The Sex Pistols, The Dead Kennedys, X, Agent Orange, Black Flag, and Green Day since Hogan sent it to her.

Lana takes a deep breath and knocks on the door.

She looks up and smirks. "Hey, killer. Come to take another crack?"

Lana takes another deep breath. "Professor Cregg, I just wanted to come by and apologize again. I know my behavior was inexcusable. I don't know what got into me. But I swear, I've never done anything like that before and I'll do whatever I can to make it right."

She rolls her eyes, hard. "You said that. Shep said it's not like you. No big, really. I was just talking to him you know. I don't want to have all weird and awkward once I turn back. He's a nice guy...you're a lucky chick."

Lana looks incredibly relieved. "Seriously? And, I know you guys were just, you know... talking. I guess, well, we'd had one of those conversations earlier that... well, when I came in and saw him all eyes for this beautiful redhead..."

She looked away in embarrassment, "Well, anyway... Thank you for being so nice about this all. You totally didn't have to be. And yeah, he's a really great guy and I'm incredibly lucky. Let's see if I can manage not to blow it."

"Lana, it's cool. Really. But, um...tell Shep I was wicked mean. I don't want him to think I'm all soft and whatever. I have a reputation, you know? Tell him I made you cry." She nods and walks around her desk, smiling. "You won't blow it. He's got it bad for you too."

Lana grins for the first time in a while, "I can do that. Uphold your reputation and all."

She pauses. "Do you really think so? That he... you know has it bad for me?"

"Ppffft, have you seen how he looks at you? You shoulda seen when he was on the phone. Or when he thinks about you. It's sick. Sweet, but sick. Be nice to him, kay? Don't break his heart...and I hope he never does it to you."

Lana's face gets a little dreamy looking. "Wow... I guess..." She flushes. "Anyway... I won't - break his heart that is. At least I can't see anything like that ever happening. I plan to be very good to him as long as he wants me around."

She's quiet for a moment, then remembers where she is. "Oh, um... I better go or I'll be late to my next class. Thank you. Shep really loves your classes, you know I would have hated to have ruined that for him. Anyway..." She smiles a little and heads for the door.

"Don't worry, Lana. If Harkness gets adopted after trying to stab me, just imagine what kind of hell I can make Shep's life. But don't tell him I said that. It'd totally harsh my buzz."

"I won't say a word." Lana grinned and headed off to class.
