Dream waits until most of the class has gathered and a small purple dragon has joined him before addressing the class. A plate of chocolate chip cookies sits on his desk; there are enough for students as well as his guest.

"Hello.

As we discussed last week, you will spend today talking with the dragon Lockheed. I trust you have all prepared questions for him in his native tongue.

I will be in my office after class for any questions."

Dream then leans back against his desk, arms crossed, and waits for Lockheed to introduce himself. He can translate if needed.

"Hi, Professor Dream. I'm so sorry I missed class last week my mun is a deadbeat who is easily distracted by shiny objects."

"Is there anything I can do to make up the work I missed? I don't have a note to be excused as I had no good reason but I didn't want to miss any work. I did my vocabulary reading, anyway."

"Ah, yes. This was your second absence, was it not?" Dream fixes Lisa with a stare for a moment before going back to his records. "In class on Thursday, I had the students practice their Dragon to prepare for Lockheed's visit. It seems as though your vocabulary review enabled you to keep up, which is fortunate for you. That will not always be the case."

"I will have to turn your absence in to the office as unexcused. I trust you understand."

"Of course," Lisa replies quickly, happy she didn't miss any work, and still a little freaked by Dream's stare.

"It won't happen again. Thank you, sir."

Dream nods. "I appreciate that you stopped in. I will see you in class on Thursday, Miss Cuddy."
