After leaving her classes, Jaye heads to the gym to start setting things up. To say she's disgruntled would be putting it mildly. She's practically datgruntled, too.

Lucky for her, Muppet chickens are easily bribeable, and they help shove tables into place and stick up signs for each one.

There are tables set up throughout the gym, each with a sign taped to the front with the name of the club. Student sponsors should probably be behind it if they want to sell their club. On each table is a clipboard to use when you sign up, but otherwise, you have all that space to put stuff on display or whatever.

Jaye sends the chickens to do their thing (and it's not her fault if a couple stick around to watch the show) takes a seat behind the table nearest to the door to do her thing. If you're rude, you might get thwapped with a clipboard.

All new clubs have a thread. Drop off a registration form with Jaye, and then go find your table and sell it.

All students have to either have a job or sign up for a club. Therefore, go find something. IF YOU DON'T SIGN UP, YOU ARE NOT CONSIDERED A MEMBER. So do so.]

[ooc: Basically, Investigator's Club is a plot clearinghouse-- if you have a good-guy/bad-guy plot, and your character needs back-up or help, but doesn't have an IC way to ask for it directly because they don't know someone helpful, this is an easy way to hook them up with magic, investigation, or scientific assistance. Activities are whatever ongoing plots happen to be in motion. It's also a good way to get interaction, if your character is at loose ends.]

Isabel stopped at the table when she saw Parker. She was also a bit concerned by the club name. Exactly what did they investigate? "Hi Parker! What exactly does the Investigator's Club due? Any chance of them finding out who was responsible for the chicken invasion yesterday? I'm still trying to get the feathers out of my room."

"Mostly? Weirdness. The gremlins are an ongoing thing, and yeah, I think the chickens should probably be added. A Muppet chicken invasion is definitely weird enough." She crossed her arms behind her head.

"Basically, anything that looks like a threat, really, or is so weird no one knows anything about it. We only investigate people if they've hurt someone and are definitely not human. Otherwise we leave it to the police, or leave them alone. Locker 327 has been taken on by Dr. Eppes, but that's a good example of something we'd look into." She sighed. "I'm putting up posters in the halls for two vampires on the island who've been attacking people off and on, and to remind people to use the SafeWalk. Stuff like that."

"Sounds interesting." She was vaguely reassured that they only investigated non-humans that hurt people. But still it was probably a good idea if she got involved, hopefully she'd be able tell if they were starting to get suspicious of her. "I think I'll sign up. I'd love to find out who set the chickens free and make them clean my room."

Xander walked up just as Isabel finished speaking, and grinned. "You and me both."

He turned to Parker. "Did I hear you say you've got those posters? I figured I'd take some into town tonight and put 'em up, if they're ready."

"Sure, hang on one sec, I've got them here..."

Parker rummaged in her folders, and came up with these:

Both the women depicted here have attacked students at Fandom High and are currently at large. If you see them, do *not* approach! Use SafeWalk, or obtain motorized transportation if you're out after dark!

Drusilla. Known to use mind-whammys. Nutjob.

Darla. Vicious. Dyes her hair. 400 years old.

If you see either of these women, avoid them and go for help!

Xander raised an eyebrow. "Dyes her hair?" He snickered. "You think anybody's gonna get far enough with her to find that out before they're lunch?"

Parker gave him the dimples. "I'm hoping she'll see it and get pissed off. If she's still around, anyway. Besides, it's not like we know anything else useful about her."

"She used to like Catholic schoolgirl uniforms." He said it a little grimly for, well, a nineteen year old boy talking about blondes, real or not, in Catholic schoolgirl uniforms.

Parker's eyes widened. "And isn't that a mental picture I didn't need. How on Earth do you know that?"

Cordy facepalms. "I don't even want to hear this. Good work on the posters, though, I'll get those put up around the school."

Xander glanced down at the poster in his hand. "She liked to pretend to be a high school kid and pick people up in the club back home. Lost a friend because he was stupid enough to fall for that."

"That's right, you mentioned that before." Parker sobered. "I sincerely hope she either gets frightened away, or bored, and leaves. Because I think killing or catching her will get other people killed. That said?" She hands him the posters. "Get what revenge you can. Make her life difficult."
