"Unfortunately, Ms. Gilmore-Danes is not feeling well, so you're all stuck with the TA. That would be me.

She left a tape of The Apprentice to watch. Enjoy not having to do any work today."

"Well, she didn't end up actually eating me, so yeah. Ok, for the most part. Aside from the being terrified and all. She just went all 'grr' and grabbed me by the neck and..."

Lindsey shrugged, attempting to look like he wasn't as bothered by this as he really was.

"I spent most of yesterday hugging my fridge and freaking out. Tried to get it all out of my system, you know? And nothing's gonna happen to me. Because I am never, ever leaving school grounds again. Ever. Really."

"Oh, I bet I can. At least until graduation. Then I'm kind of screwed, huh? Maybe I'll just keep you around to protect me from the big bad vampires. You can always blow'em up, right?"

"And I wouldn't mind if you kept me around more often," she said with a grin.
