Nadia's still not into the cult of duct tape, so she just shrugs. "Not really." She holds two fingers together, and then pries them apart as they stick together. "I wouldn't wish this fate on anyone."

Walter thinks her cat might deserve the fate...

"That's too bad. Do you have nything else going on I should know about? More superball battles? Maybe you'll be smuggling in a water cannon next?"

Nadia raises an eyebrow at him. This guy can apparently hold a grudge like nobody's business. That happened days ago. "Noooo, I'm pretty sure the bouncy balls are probably going to be the highlight of my school career." She grins. "Unless I can get my hands on a whole lot of packaging peanuts."

Walter will drop his grudge when his face looks a bit less like Edward Scissorhands' after he got poison ivy on his nose.

However...

"Packaging peanuts. And what would you do with those packaging peanuts if some suave and dashing young butler could help you acquire them?"

Nadia shrugged. "I dunno, fill one of the bathrooms with them? I hadn't really thought that far in advance." Since she'd just come up with packaging peanuts at that moment to tease Walter.

Walter looks thoughtful for a few moments as images of packing peanuts and the basement swimming pool try to swirl together in his evil little imagination.

Now, how on earth to get that many of them?

"Planning, I hear, is a good skill for us to acquire. Let's work on that.

"Now, why haven't I seen your name on the sign-ups for the Olympics? I know you're competitive."

Nadia shook her head. "It was asking for people with super human powers. I don't have super human powers. I just know a lot of dirty tricks you can do with normal human powers."

"You have no 'unusual, exceptional, or unique' skills?" Walter scoffs; he's sparred with her. "You don't have to set things on fire with your mind or anything."

Nadia rolled her eyes, while inwardly wondering if anyone at this school could set things on fire with their minds. And if they'd be willing to teach her how. "The only thing I'm that good at is stealing." She snapped her mouth shut, her eyes widening just slightly. "Hearts." she finished, rather lamely. "Stealing people's hearts with my girly charms."

"Hearts. Right." Walter leans forward and gives her a conspiratorial wink. "Thieves need to be better liars."

Nadia makes a show of going back to her book. If Walter is listening, however, he probably hears her mutter "Not if they don't talk to their marks,"

Walter grins and drops a sneeckerduudle on her book before actually consuming all the food he got from the chef.

Nadia examines the cookie, sniffs it as though to check for foul play, then shrugs and downs it in nearly one bite. She goes back to her reading.
