Introduction to Archaeology, Period 5
Daniel looks even worse than yesterday.
"Discuss Pitt-Rivers amongst yourself and read the chapter on the history of archaeology in your textboooks.
Hand in last Thursday's homework on my desk.
Blair, as TA you're in charge. I'm, um, going back to bed.
[[ooc: *rushes out of house* Am away for next 24 hours or so. Behave ;)]]

Re: Sign in & homework
The so-called Three Age System was developed by the Danish curator of the National Museum of Denmark C.J. Thomsen, at the instigation of his predecessor Rasmus Nyerup, and to resolve display issues. It's seperated into stone, bronze and iron based on the type of tools used during those ages. It's not terribly accurate and vague, but it's a good starting point.

Homework
She also mentions that there is no established "Wood Age", because wood doesn't last and supposes that we are living in the "Plastic Age".

Molly turns in her notes on the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages. They aren't very detailed, but they have the basics there.
