The P.A. crackles to life.

"If anyone has a good recipe for shepherd's pie that does not require the ingredient of shepherds as I'd hate to imagine an entire herd of Sheps *rimshot*, please put a copy in my mailbox? Now here are your announcements for the day.

One, today is Martin Luther King Junior Day. A man who had a dream. Most schools would recieve today off in honor of this man's great achievements. Except for the fact that I have a different dream that involves students going to classes. My dream wins.

Two, please remember to vote for Student Council Representatives today. This will have some small impact on the rest of the school year, so please vote responsibly. [ooc: Responsibly means -from the character journal-. OMG. For serious.]

Three, I like pudding.

Four, I'd like it very clear to the entire school that while serving detention, the teacher in charge is your lord and master. You will bow to his or her wishes as though your life depended on it. Defiance is stupidity, not bravery.

That is all, ladies, gentleman, and students. Have a properly academic day."

A few moments later, the P.A. crackles to life again.

"Excuse me, that is not all. The pool rennovations have completed and is again open for proper student use. Also, the gremlin population has been cut down to a reasonably tiny level. Incidents with the gremlins should be down to a less hazardous level. Thank you, and good day."

In his office, the Doctor's jaw sets, and he tosses out his lecture for the day, replacing it with notes he quickly scribbles on a piece of paper.

Walter makes a note to include the recipe to go with the shepherd's pie he'll be "giving" the principal later. All he needs is to be sure Miss Skeeter won't be around to turn him into a wombat.

Since he had to be the butt of the joke, Shep decides to play along.

He grabs his laptop, finds a recipe and emails it along to the principal:

Dear Principal Smith:

Here is a recipe for the pie you wanted:

As you can see, no shepherds (or Sheppards) should be harmed in the making of this pie. Or, you know... during anything else.
