Shop Class: [1/16]

As the students enter into the class room they find that, for once, it looks like a normal shop room. Except for the fact that Mac's desk is laden down with a whole bunch of sugary snacks (Cookies, Twinkies, etc.) and shiny objects.

Mac cheerfully spends the first part of class going over the use and safety of all the shop equipment before talking about the assignment.

"Even though we had a extermination team come through here last week, there's always a chance that there are still some gremlins around or that they will come back. So today's assignment is to build a device that will entice and trap a gremlin in a humane fashion."

"All the materials you would need to make such a device are located in the supply room. For bait feel free to use any of the snacks or shiny objects on my desk."

Walter grins, "Dangerous. Preferably with objects you don't mind seeing sliced into small pieces."

Mac blinked a few times at the comment. "I see. With um... what will you be slicing with?"

Walter holds up his hands with wire stretched cat's cradle-style between his fingers. "These.

"Monofilament wires. They'll cut through just about anything."

Mac sat for minute in thought. "Well... we purged most of the training programs that came with the equipment when we set up the shop, but we have them on backup. It'll take a few days for me to get them up and running but we should be able to put together something."
