Looking through his book, Cameron comes up with his reply. "Nine is the maximum number of cubes that are needed to sum to any positive integer."

"Uh," Cameron scratched the back of his neck. "No?"

"Good to know, sir." Cameron wonders why someone with hair that reminded him of Archie could be so evil.

"21 is special because it's the smallest number of distinct squares needed to tile a square." Victor says proudly.

"4 is the smallest number of colors sufficient to color all planar maps," Kiki reports.

Molly rested her chin on top of the stuffed rabbit's head as she looked at the website. She looked up at Professor Eppes, yawned and said, "5 is the number of platonic solids."

Molly gave him a sleepy grin. "Mostly, Professor Eppes. I just need to get used to getting up this early."

Pippi was surprised to find she was ready for this question. Because when her Charlie told her to remember that numbers were in everything, she had decided to look Pie up on the internet. After getting several exciting new recipes to try with rhubarb she found that there is no E in 3.14...

She didn't even have to look in her book. She took out a notebook instead.

"Pi is always the ratio of a circle's distance around and its distance across. Always. No matter how big or small the circle is... Which is sad, because it never gets a vacation."

Pippi pondered the social significance of older men giving her muffins.

"Thanks!" She took a huge bite. Maybe this math thing wasn't so bad after all.

If she could figure out Pi and get a muffin, plutterfication tables should be a snap.
