Nadia just doesn't have the energy to head upstairs and make herself something for lunch, so she braves the cafeteria. She grabs some of the "Mecurunee und Cheese-a" and "Apple-a Piee-a". After a moment, she also goes for the "putetu" and the suoop.

She's never been one to turn down food when it's offered.

Walter waves to Nadia on his way to join Pip for lunch. He's stiff, but working hard to cover it. The red scrape along his jaw isn't something he can cover, though.

"How's the ankle today?"

Nadia smiled. "I went to the clinic earlier. It's doing okay." She winked. "How about you?"

"You didn't get any vital bits. Not for lack of trying, though." He rubbed his hand carefully along his jaw. "I'll know to wear a cup the next time we do that."

Nadia grinned. "Basic self-defense for women. Aim for where it hurts the most."

"Yeah, but you're only supposed to hurt the attacker a little. That's okay. I'll know better next time."

Nadia shrugged. "Yeah. Sorry. I kinda got into the moment and forgot that part." She smiled again. "Good to know you'll be prepared, though."

"I'm rather attached to those bits. I'm not complaining. You gave me a better workout than I was expecting." Walter says it as though it's high praise. "It'll be fun to try again."

Nadia raised her eyebrows. "Hey, maybe next time I'll win."

Nadia sticks her tongue out at him and stuffs some putetu in her mouth. She chews and swallows quickly. "Well, now I know how you move. Makes it easier to improvise."

"Right, and now I know how you move. It can only get more fun from here, right?" Walter gave Nadia a wave. "I'm going to go sit in the smoking section. See you around."
