Cookery course

Hello, it's your lifestyle coach again. England just won the Ashes, with the fifth test drawn.

A few students have mentioned to me that they don't know how to cook, or that they wished that someone was offering cookery classes.

If anyone wants to come to my classroom around this time tomorrow, I'll see if I can teach you all how to put together a simple meal.

Please bring a set of ingredients with you -- something suited to your particular physiology and metabolism, obviously. I'll have some basics here already -- water, salt, Hagra biscuits, a bottle or two of That O'l Janx Spirit, and so on.

Anyone seen attempting to cook one of the other students or staff will be given an instant detention.

This class will be open to staff as well as students.

I'll post again tomorrow at the start of class.

"Turns into a class" sounds a little formal. I'm aiming at "turns into a meal" here. I'm sure there will be credit for the survivors.

Either one I'd be happy. The last thing I tried to turn into a meal...we had to call the fire brigade. Credit for suvival does sound a good idea.

I hadn't thought of doing anything as formal as signing up. If you just turn up, that'll be fine.

For some reason I can't fathom, this room seems to have a limitless supply of kitchen equipment and more space than we're likely to need. I'm sure that if there are more people in attendance than I can manage, they'll be able to help each other out.

I don't foresee any problems with that at all.
