ATTENTION YEARBOOK PEOPLE:
Tonight's meeting will be held in the cafeteria. Please bring a writing utensil of some sort, paper, and your ideas. If you're interested in photography, please bring your camera and a sample of your work.
Those who are applying for editorial positions, please reflect on any previous experience you may have and be prepared to submit an application based on why you deserve the position. We need editors in both the photography and writing elements, so feel free to apply for either.
Once again, this meeting is open to anyone who is interested in joining the staff. We have an unlimited number of positions, and we'll need all the help we can get, so please come if you're interested at all.
I hope to see you all there.

[ooc: I'll post around 6 EST or so, and I apologize if that's late for anyone.]

As former publisher of my award-winning school annual, The Rushmore Yankee, I'd be happy to advise or lend a hand in any way I'm capable. I'm sure you'll find my eye for detail refreshing. I once studied under the infamous yearbook producer, Enrique de la Cruz -- a name I'm sure you are familiar with.
If my schedule permits, I'd be pleased to attend your function. I thought it was best to introduce myself as a colleague first, rather than risking potential humiliation in front of your perspective staff.
Greetings. I look forward to conversing with you. Are you seeing anyone, by the way? You've got a great look.
Sincerely,

He'd never been involved in something like a yearbook before, but Dr. Thurman had suggested that maybe some of his problems would clear up if he joined an afterschool activity.
Plus, he'd heard that detention was worse than anything he could dream - and for Donnie, that was saying something.
"Well," he mumbles under his breath, "maybe I can just write captions or take pictures or something, and this...Rory person won't be on my ass all the time. And maybe this won't be as fucking superficial as Middlesex's load of shit they publish every year."
He decides it won't hurt to go to the meeting, at least.

Sawyer is rather curious as to what this club held within it. His Pa' used to show him how to work a camera, this was before he committed suicide after killing his Ma'. He'd always loved that camera, he has it tucked away somewhere where no one could take it, it was precious to him.
"Fuck, maybe I'll go then." he huffed and noted it into his memory. He'd be there, hopefully.
