Last business, first. At the end of the day, Grissom posts all Sociology students grades. He will stay after Sociology of Deviance and hold special late office hours if any students would like to discuss their grades.

Grissom is there to chat with, preparing grades and catching up giving out gifts from last class ASAP. Attendance not required, but he does have corn chips.

"Today, you present your finals projects. Grades will be made available after class. I also have a gift for each of you, after your presentation. Feel free to ask your fellow remaining students questions about their projects, if you wish.

I enjoyed having all of you in class even Angel, although I don't suppose you'd ask for my dating advice anymore - My Bad and I hope to see you all again next semester."

[OOC: I'm so sad! You guys were really, really awesome this semester, and I had fun playing with all of you, I truly mean that. *clings* Thank you for your participation - it meant a lot to me shaddup, I'm a sap, and it was a great time all around. Happy Holidays!]

"He didn't send me any snacks," Grissom says as he gives Sara a stare complete with raised eyebrows. "I wonder why that is?... hmmmmm..."

An amused look. "If you were to ask Nick for candy, I'd wonder if the old rumors were true." She nimbly ducks a swat, crunching on some corn chips.

"When I first came out to Vegas, Ecklie was swearing you, Greg, and 'Rick were knocking boots. Apparently that was the only way to explain the night shift solve rates." Smirkity smirk.

"Well, Warrick is a very attractive man," Grissom says with a stone-cold face, deadpan. "But Greg's not really my type."

"Nick would be more your speed," she says with an agreeable nod. "Of course, that means Catherine and I would have to entertain ourselves and for some reason, I don't picture that ending well."

He, shockingly, know better than to say he has no problem picturing it.

"It doesn't surprise me that Conrad would jump to any conclusion he saw fit. He knows his science, but he's a politician at heart. One has to wonder what the current bets running at the lab are, however..."

Maia knocked on the door after Sara left, she clutched a flat package, nervous she entered the office. "Hey I wanted to turn my report in to you, I interviewed Tonks."



M: So what kind of law enforcement officer are you?
T: I'm an Auror for the Ministry of Magic. A dark wizard catcher.
M: Why did you become an Auror?
T: Family I guess you could say
M: Any regrets?
T: No, I think it is the best job pretty much, its all I ever wanted to do.



"I also stopped by to give you This (http://www.amonline.net.au/research_library/images/entomology.jpg) They said it was really rare, one of the first of its kind really. Dates back to 1890, its um, well its a first edition. I didn't know if you had it or not." Maia blushed slightly nervous.

"Wow, Maia," he looks at the gift with his mouth slightly agape. "I'm touched. It's wonderful, thank you."

He places it on his desk reverently after carefully inspecting it with a huge smile on his face.

"Come with me," he motions her through the back door of his office to the small break area behind it. There are several large boxes wrapped in golden, printed paper sitting on a couch. They contain these gifts. (http://pics.livejournal.com/drgrissom/gallery/00003gs4)

Maia's mouth fell open "Oh Gil...this is, oh my its just to much." She whispered as she fingered the etchings on the wine glasses.

"No, it's not. I really appreciate everything you've done this year, Maia. And I've never had a friend to give gifts to like this before, so let me have my moment," he says rather warmly.

"I thought, when you choose to drink your wine, it would be nice to serve it properly. You deserve much more than just this, but it's something," he says a little embarrassed.

Maia blushed again "I-I don't know what to say." She whispered and then threw her arms around Grissom in a hug.

It takes him a few awkward seconds, but then he wraps his arms around Maia and returns the embrace.

"Merry Christmas?" he chuckled nervously.

"Merry Christmas Grissom." Maia beamed kissing Gil's cheek. "Can you do something for me? Well, more then you have already" She looked nervous.

Maia went over to her bag and pulled out a golden envelope. "Can you give these (http://www.shotdirectory.com/images/100300/web_graphics/Venetian_restaurant_logo.gif) to Sara for me, its... well its for both of you really if you want but well I didn't know what to get her and thought maybe you know you guys would like a nice night out or something you know, sometimes going home can be really stressful." She looked at the floor "I- well its all arranged so whatever it costs I mean, the hotel has it on file and stuff so its all taken care of."

"Oh, Maia," he said a little forlornly, taking the envelope and rubbing the corner with the tip of his finger. "That's... thank you. She'll really appreciate it."

He fumbled, not knowing what to say.

Maia nodded akwardly for a moment and then smiled at him, a real smile. "Your really great Grissom. Both of you." She smiled "Thank you for my presents they are beautiful, I am going to take them to Seattle with me, use them on New Years" Maia smiled "I think Chi and I are going to be doing something to kinda celebrate us you know." Maia wanted to reassure Grissom that she was ok with everything, that she had found happiness with Chiana in their strange way of having a relationship.
