Parker's there, looking half-asleep, but happy to be done with *everything*. She's looking through on-line catalogs for a late present for Broots, and ones for the bodyguards.
"Yum. Good thing Carter got me a sparring set for Christmas, I'll be able to work out more and not gain any weight from all the goodies this season." Parker smiled as she popped some lemon candy. "When do you get back?"
"Parker," Krycek greets her, wandering over with the two (http://pics.livejournal.com/krycek_rat/pic/0002cwzq/g17) packages (http://pics.livejournal.com/krycek_rat/pic/0002eys8/g17), which he sets down in front of her. "Glad I found you. And Merry Christmas - these are yours."
Blinking, Parker says, "Wow, hang on, let me get yours." She pokes around in her satchel, and comes up with this (http://www.whatonearthcatalog.com/whatonearth/T-Shirts_1AG/Wit-Humor_1EF/Item_I-Didnt-Do-It-Shirts_AT8271G_ps_cti-1EF.html) before ripping into her presents gleefully.
"Oooooooo!" She strokes the concealed-carry holster, enchanted, then opens the other and laughs. "Wonderful, a friend for Esme! Heh. Open yours. There's an IOU in there too."
"Good plan. I think sheer stress kept my weight down this semester, but if I'm going to eat healthy and avoid any ulcer complications, I'll need to do something else." Parker frowned. "Cam-Boy and some of the others used to go running pretty regularly. They might like the company."
"If you really want to? Those three go in Special Collections, they're new," Parker said, pointing to them, "And those three just go back in the 400's. Are you doing anything fun over break? Aside from going home, I mean."
*Zero comes in, throws down her bag, and addresses whoever happens to be closest to her.*
Right. New flight; the cab'll pick me up at the causeway at nine o'clock tonight. An' if Professor Pierson doesn' show today, I guess I'll have to mallet him.
Now, does anyone have a list of people I need t'chase down about their books?
Angela eyes the new SC books warily. "The Philosphy Of Time Travel, by Roberta Sparrow," she reads aloud, "And two others for the same section. Seems pretty safe -- I'll do that after I put the 400s back."
She shrugs at Parker's question. "Not really. I'll probably go to the New Year's party Veronica Mars and Angel are putting together, and some of my friends want to hang out while I'm home. You?"
"Can't have enough comfortable, convenient holsters," he smirks pulling open the wrapping on his gift. He grins, holding it up to look at it a moment. "Ha! I like it. Thanks, Parker."
Krycek finds the slip in the packaging, then glances at Parker, arching an eyebrow quizzically. "When do you want to do this?"
"Bahamas while I'm gone, so I won't see any of my friends from home for long, probably. Back here before New Year's." Parker cocked her head. "Wings and Veronica are putting on a New Year's Party? Hmmm. Maybe I'll go to that, if it's not just them and a couple others. Although I heard there's a party in-town, too."
"Today, if it's open. When I get back from break, if it's not." She shrugged, studying Krycek. "I never got around to fulfilling that promise before, and you definitely deserve it. And a weapon off-campus is a good idea, considering how often you're out doing stuff."
[ooc: and I have to go do stuff in about half an hour... but I'll be back on later this evening, if we can track down Tex before then.]
"Bahamas," Angela says jealously. "Sounds nice. I need to trravel with you someday, seriously."
"Angel and Vee both told me about it, so I think they want it to be big. I hadn't heard about the townie thing yet. Maybe we could hit both."
She drums her fingers against the books, noticing Zero has entered the library. "I'll take these to the shelves, then I should be out of here." A nostalgic look crosses her face. "I'll miss this place."
"That sounds good. I go home early tomorrow, so if it's not open today, we'll go looking for it before New Year's." She grinned. "I didn't want to pick one out, because I know that shopping for a weapon is half the fun."
"Sounds like a plan," he said, grinning back. "And most definitely. I'm looking forward to it." Moving to leave, he threw her a last look. "If I don't see you before you leave, have a good holiday at home."
