Journalism Class - Friday December 16
The classroom has been forcibly dragged back into a more normal appearance, and Spider is sprawled behind the desk, feet on the top, grinning like a fiend. There is no sign of the Santa hat.
"Good news, my delightful children. Tonight your final projects are due... and I'm perfectly sober, unfortunately, so they really are due tonight. This is more in the way of good news for me, naturally, so I'll understand if you're not overjoyed."
Still grinning, he rises to his feet. "The Journalism classroom will be open all day for those who need to work on their project and food and drink of a festive nature will be provided." The grin broadens. "I have received parole, of a sort, and will be leaving Fandom High the very instant that classes are over. It's not that I haven't enjoyed my time here... the zombies, the incident where I thought I was the Smiler, being rolled by Rover, the paperwork...."
The grin was slipping. "I hate it here!"
There came a brief pause as the cat appears, dragging a much mauled Santa hat with a look of triumph and Spider scowls down at it. "At any rate, the place will be stocked with all sorts of fun stuff to eat and drink. Enjoy and get your damn projects done before the deadline."
((OOC: As those of you who are familiar with Spider will realize, the 'I hate it here' means that he actually enjoys it here and is now going to be crabby over leaving - complete with a variety of excuses as to why he's glad he gets to go.

as well as someone he genuinely liked, but those are a dime a dozen, aren't they?.He goes back to his work finally, but, strangely, he has little appetite.

which he'll deny to his dying dayand then he gets up and takes off on a run.He comes back to the classroom half an hour later, placing a box (http://pics.livejournal.com/courier_gavin/gallery/00020388) hastily wrapped with cute wee christmassy kitten paper in front of Spider. "Merry... You know." He waves his hand and goes to sit down next to Krycek again.

crawlswalks in looking... not very awake. This could have something to do with staying up until about 4 am working on his article, because despite his ubersmugness over not panicking last week when the wrong deadline was announced... he forgot that it was due at midnight tonight.Which means, as he blinks at the teacher and tries to process the announcement about Spider leaving
WOE, he's also blinking and processing the fact that Xander Harris finished an assignment early. This is gonna take a lot of Twinkies.

and in no way resembling her player, nope, not at all.She finally turns in this interview.
She pauses by the desk as she turns it in. "I'm really sorry to see you go, sir. Thanks for everything."

Considering everything she's been through this week? She thinks it turned out pretty well.
"It's been a pleasure learning from you, sir, she says. Good luck."

Added to it is a note: Sorry, Professor, but DEATH doesn't show up well on camera...it's kinda blurry.
((And if you're wondering why Jessica knows about the Grim Reaper...she was in the library and did research on Earthly associations.))
