Study Hall -- Monday, September 12th
Welcome to today's Study Hall, kids. For all you new students, Study Hall is an open daily post for me to make announcements and for students who are not in class to mingle, study, eat lunch, explore the lunch, cause incredible amounts of trouble that make me want to fucking fill them full of ammo, and other non-class-related activities.
Today's announcements:
-- New students should make sure they are signed up for three classes and an extracurricular activity (part-time jobs count). They must post once a week in each class they have (or more, depending on the teacher's guidelines, but that's a school requirement). Keep that in mind when taking a class.
-- Our first detention will be this weekend. For you newbies, detention is a room you never want to enter unless you were planning on losing limbs in this lifetime. If there are any teachers who wish to run detention this weekend, that would really help, as the principal will probably be(OOC: Off celebrating her mun's birthday early ... woohoo!) otherwise occupied.
-- Reports are coming from the cafeteria that after a rather strange taste-testing incident this morning, the staff recommends that you do not eat the chicken salad sandwiches. From what I heard, everybody who's tried them has turned into a chicken. Let's not overwhelm the school nurse with an overabundance of shape-shifting poultry today, shall we?
-- There's been a reported sighting of a zombie on the third floor of the dorm. Whoever raised the dead on school property without the proper paperwork will be immediately given detention this weekend. Oh, and if somebody could wrangle the zombie, that'd be nice.
EDIT: Also, by request ...

Um, Miss Parker? I don't think there's a rule against murder in this school, so, um, can we not get killed?
Taps a few more keys on the keyboard
Er, I got a hit for Demons, Demons, Demons?
((ooc: An actual website used on Angel. Fear.))

*reads website*
Well, now I'm definitely not joining Junior Achievers. That kind of pain in the neck I don't need.
And yes, Broots, not getting killed? Is the plan.
*sigh of frustration*
When I come up with something more comprehensive, I'll let you know. Until then... I suggest talking to Professor Gandalf about protection from Belthazor, and making damn sure you've got a cross on you somewhere for Angelus.
At least most of the classrooms are well-lit.

And Miss Parker? Please don't get killed. Or get me killed. Or you know, get either of us in mortal danger. Please?

Fine. *I'll* go to Prof Gandalf or Jareth-- they're the ones with the mojo, maybe they know what kind of protection we need to invest in.
And no, I don't think garlic would help you in any way at all.
*long suffering sigh* Don't do *anything* until I tell you, Broots. Got it?

And do you think I can go sleep in my room tonight? Or, at least, change clothes? And I'm not planning on doing anything except running.

Look, on the website, see? *pushes his face closer to the screen* It says vampires can't come in if not invited. Clearly that doesn't apply to Belthazor. But I'm going to see about fixing his little red wagon. Just don't invite Angelus in. Capische?
And please God, change the clothes. If you have anything non-geek-couture, that would be good.
*walks off muttering 'why must I always do all the thinking?'*

Why would I want to invite him in? And what's wrong with my clothes?
For some reason, the laptop doesn't reply
