Study Hall -- Monday, September 12th

Welcome to today's Study Hall, kids. For all you new students, Study Hall is an open daily post for me to make announcements and for students who are not in class to mingle, study, eat lunch, explore the lunch, cause incredible amounts of trouble that make me want to fucking fill them full of ammo, and other non-class-related activities.

Today's announcements:

-- New students should make sure they are signed up for three classes and an extracurricular activity (part-time jobs count). They must post once a week in each class they have (or more, depending on the teacher's guidelines, but that's a school requirement). Keep that in mind when taking a class.

-- Our first detention will be this weekend. For you newbies, detention is a room you never want to enter unless you were planning on losing limbs in this lifetime. If there are any teachers who wish to run detention this weekend, that would really help, as the principal will probably be (OOC: Off celebrating her mun's birthday early ... woohoo!) otherwise occupied.

-- Reports are coming from the cafeteria that after a rather strange taste-testing incident this morning, the staff recommends that you do not eat the chicken salad sandwiches. From what I heard, everybody who's tried them has turned into a chicken. Let's not overwhelm the school nurse with an overabundance of shape-shifting poultry today, shall we?

-- There's been a reported sighting of a zombie on the third floor of the dorm. Whoever raised the dead on school property without the proper paperwork will be immediately given detention this weekend. Oh, and if somebody could wrangle the zombie, that'd be nice.

"SON OF A BITCH!" Sawyer hollers in utter pain as he holds his nose gently, "Can't I get a darn kiss or something without being punched?!" he says desperately, panting and tears welling up in his eyes; the dire need for a cigarette is setting in now.

Illyana steps out of what looks like a silver light before it closes up behind her.

"Probably if you asked them first you wouldn't get punched," she says as she joins her roommate.

Sawyer sat brooding at the moment, he wanted some action and he wasn't getting anything. He'd need to go the clinic now, fucking great! He sighed heavily and stood by both Callisto and Illyana.

*Beka comes, summoned temporarily by some power of Callisto's or Magik's.* Weird. I was kinda talking to Cam. Will he know I'm gone?

*pulls out mini-pulse-pistol points it at his forehead* Understand?

Evelyn enters and looks around. She sees the new guy, Sawyer trying to get lucky with that trio of dangerous blondes she had seen around.

She goes to him and hands him a cloth to hold to his nose.

"Around here, not taking a hint can be hazardous to your health."

She takes his arm and pulls him away from his dangerous situation.

"I'm Evelyn."

He was rather thankful for Evelyn right now, his nose was pounding out blood and yet he still wanted to get what he, well, wanted.

"Thanks, darlin'" he said shortly, holding the cloth to his nose. Crap, that hurt.

"Do you want me to walk you to the clinic? You should probably get that checked out?" She tilted her head. "You really have the hots for them, don't you?"

"Right now, I surely have the hots for you, thanks." he said in a moment of geniunity, that was very rare, "But yeah, I guess so?" he winced as another rush of blood hit his nose and came onto the cloth.

Evelyn smiled and wrapped an arm around his waist.

"Come on, I'll take you to the clinic."

Sawyer regretted coming here now, all he was since he got here was trouble but that's what he was. He tried his best to grab that girl's interest and it seemed to be not working. Was he just rusty? Or did he have to brush up on his charm?

"Shit, this hurts like there's no tomorrow.." he said with a grunt.
