Sociology Classes // Wednesday the 14th

Death and Dying (4 - 5:45 PM)

"Welcome to class, everyone. I know you are all busy studying for your finals, so I am reluctant to introduce any new material. Instead, we will watch a film that has, apparently, an interesting personification of Death. It's called," Grissom looks down at the box with a frown. "Will and Ned's Lame Escapade."

Grissom turns off the light and adds, "Oh, and if any of you would like popcorn, I think there might be some in the staff kitchen across the hall. You can borrow my office keys ~~if you're in the mood for hijinks, as it is that kind of day~~ if you'd like; the kitchen is through the back door."

Sociology of Deviance (6 - 10:00 PM)

"Welcome to class, everyone. This is our last meeting before your projects are due, please, if you have any questions, now is the time, or stop by my apartment this weekend."

"At this point in your studies, I feel as if we should be able to tackle some material that is more risque without any problem. I hope I am correct in this assumption.

Very Clinical Lecture on Sexual Fetishism ~~with obvious naughty words~~

"Now, I have set up a few stations on some intriguing or more unusual fetishes for you to take a look at on your own time. Please select one and then I'd like you discuss it."

The Choices are: Scuba Fetishism, Hair Cut Fetishism, Eyeglasses Fetishism, Robot Fetishism, and for kicks, Arborphilia.

Belthazor hurried into Deviance class, looking distracted. Something had obviously gone wrong with his spell. There had to some way to fix it and make it work like he intended.

And Angelus really was going to kill him if he remembered any of it.

"Bel, is something wrong? Does the subject matter make you uncomfortable?"

"Huh? What?" Bel was jolted from his thoughts. "No, no, of course not. Just, um, have things on my mind. Sorry."

Grissom looks at him, and tried to muster up a reassuring grin. "Don't let finals stress you out too much. You've done well in this class." He reaches the end of his abilities to be comforting, and instead hands Bel a bag of pretzels rather awkwardly and walks back to his desk.

Ivanova loves this class. She really, really does. She listens to the lecture, fascinated, and her mind begins wandering near the end as she rememers that little incident with Londo and one of his many, um, appendages.

Grissom smirks at Ivanova, and offers her some snacks ~~not like that, they're left over from yesterday~~ as she looks at the displays.

Angel came into class looking distracted. It was also entirely possible that his clothes were a little more rumpled than normal.

Bel glanced sideways at Angel, wondering if he'd gotten lucky with one of his boys in study hall. ~~Not that he was in the least bit jealous. Not at all.~~ On the bright side, maybe it didn't matter who gave him that "moment of happiness." Buffy just guaranteed it, but if Bridge or Duo did, well, Angelus would get over it.

Angel glanced over at Bel. A puzzled frown crossed his face.

Bel quickly looked away and glanced at his notes. Angel couldn't possibly know what he'd done...could he?

Angel thought about it. He moved over to sit beside Bel. He pitched his voice low, so Grissom wouldn't hear.

"I think we should talk, don't you?"

Maybe it had worked? Bel couldn't suppress a grin. "Yeah, we probably should," he agreed.

Angel checked to make sure no one was listening. "There's a certain something I think we're trying to pretend isn't going on. Know what I mean?"

Bel nodded, barely containing his glee. "Probably for the best not to let it get out," he said. "Might not make some people too happy."

Angel's mouth curved into a half-grin. "Do you really think making me too happy's going to be a problem? You know, now?"

"Not at all," Bel said. "In fact, I can think of several ways to make you even happier. You don't know how much I've been looking forward to this."

"Me too," Angel agreed. "In fact right now all I can think about is ways I can show you how... happy you're making me."

"What did you have in mind?" Bel said eagerly.

"Something to get the heart pumping," Angel gave Bel a lingering look. "So to speak."

"I think I catch your meaning," Bel said. His demon side had been craving some sport. "The only question is where we start?"

Angel leaned closer. "I'm tempted to start right here."

Bel looked around. The only other people in the room were Ivanova and Grissom. He actually liked Grissom, but he didn't know Ivanova at all, so no loss there. "Aren't you forgetting about the cameras?" he brought up. "Or do you just not care about anyone finding out the truth now?"

I'm beyond caring," Angel said. His hand was now resting close to Bel's back. "Besides, having the cameras around can make it more fun."

"Well, if that's how you want to celebrate your coming out, so to speak, far be it from me to say no," Bel said. "Let's have some fun."
