After office hours, Jenny unlocked the door into Study Hall, maneuvered her containers of coffee, bagels, and cream cheese for the students, then set up her laptop and started working.

"Me too," Angel agreed. "I wouldn't mind seeing Hamlet or - " he glanced at Duo " - anybody else like that."

Duo nods. "Always a fun ride when someone's makin' an ass of themselves! Though Hamlet might try and kill everyone afterwards..."

Angel shrugged, unfazed. "Sometimes that adds a spice."

Duo laughs and nods. "You got that right! Nothin' like a little murder and mayhem to make things interestin'!"

"You think so?" Angel brightened. "God. It's been so long since I've met anybody who gets that. Normally they're put off by, you know, the killer thing."

Duo gives a short laugh. "Me? Put off by a killer thing? That's a laugh!" He shakes his head. "Man, it's all in how you play it, that's all. Gotta know you're goin' to hell, anyhow. Not that I mind! The trip there's all twisted up!"

Angel looked even happier. He moved to sit closer to Duo. "I've been to hell! Man, what are the odds? How'd you know you were going? Do you want tips? I could give you tips."

Duo raised his eyebrows somewhat at how happy and friendly Angel was being, but continued on regardless. "Been there? Man, I've been close, but not all the way, yet. That's sorta impressive, I'm still workin' on gettin' there!" He gives a short laugh. "Yeah, I'll take tips, seein' as how I'm not far off!"

"You aren't?" Angel looked intrigued. He put his hand on the back of Duo's chair. "Tell me more. I had no idea there was somebody else at this school who understood what that path is like. Normally it's such a lonely one."

"Dude." Duo says. "Tell me about it! Though screw bein' upset about it, you gotta go down swingin'!" He claps Angel on the back and grins.

"I," Angel said, leaning closer to the touch, "am all about going down swinging. Sometimes not even at the same time!"

Finally, Duo's proximity alarm goes off in the back of his head and he leans back slightly, looking askance at Angel. "Uh. Right. That's cool, dude." He pauses. "You okay? We still on the same page, here?"

Angel blinked. "Bloodshed, right?"

Duo relaxes. "Right. Yeah." He grins crookedly.

"Nothing like painting the town red," Angel said. "It's my favorite way to use my sword."

Duo looks interested. "Sword, huh? Guns and bombs and grenades all the way for me; 's less work. My pal Wufei was a fan of swords."

"Nothing against the wham, bam methods," Angel said, "but swords are the way I prefer to go. More personal. More hands on. I wanna feel that thrust, you know?"

"I hear ya, I hear ya." Duo says. "But with guns, there's nothin' like knowing you're holdin' onta somethin' real powerful. And the kickback? Woo! That's a real hit right there! Total, total rush. Plus you get less tired than waving a sword around; means you're ready to do it again real soon." He nods.

"When you're right, you're right," Angel admitted. "Still, I'd prefer to be holding a big gun. If there's going to be a bang, I want the biggest bang there can be."
