Grissom opens the lab with a smile on his face, although he looks pretty tired from knockin' boots all night okay, from changing his LJ layout instead of sleeping.

He sets up this totally gross, yet strangely intriguing program on a laptop in the front of the classroom, in which you can, by inputting your weight and manipulating several basic variables, find out just how long it would take your body to decompose in various situations.

He opens his lunch as the next natural step, of course, and then looks disgusted. There might be seaweed in his salad, and may be making him more than a little miserable.

Grissom is amused, but of course, does not actually register any emotion on his face.

"I'm trying to incorporate some macrobiotic foods into my diet," he says with disgust.

Grissom takes Marty's homework from him, and quickly looks it over. "NP, Martin. These things happen, and you aren't the type to skip without reason. This," he says, waving the paper, "is more than sufficient. Although you should go tell me your semester grade. (http://www.livejournal.com/users/drgrissom/8186.html)."

"Oh," he reaches into the desk and hands Marty another piece of paper. "Here's your study guide for the exam by the way."

"Uh-huh. Macrobiotic. Looks like kelp. What's it taste like?"

Marty takes the exam guide and gives it a quick onceover.

"Thanks Dr. Grissom. Is there anything else I should be aware of for the Final?"

"Chewing on a pile of natural fertilizer," he jokes, pushing his lunch aside and wishing he hadn't forgot his sandwich at home.

"No, that's it. You'll do fine, as long as you review your material. I wouldn't be overly concerned."
