Welcome class!

First of all, I just wanted to let you know that your final projects are due next Tuesday. I look forward to giving you all A's seeing what you came up with as you explored one part of the exciting universe of Home Economics!

Today, we're making adorable Snowman laterns. Festive, and good as a gift for someone who is an alien, non-mammal, or dirty pagan doesn't necessarily celebrate Christmas.

And have a snowflake cookie!



[Grading for the semester will work like this: Next Tuesday, if you "X passes in her/his project," you get an A-. If "X passes in a project on Blah, that includes blah and is presented on blah. Blah blah." you get an A. If "X presents a project on Blah. It involved blah blah blah. Look at a link to blah, or look at the shiny picture blah, or whatever Blah Blah. Look, X even posted about doing their Home Ec project once over here. Blah." you get the idea, you get an A+. Simple enough? A basic description gets you an A, any effort gets you an A+. You don't bother to show up at all, the ninja cats will kill you while you sleep.]

Maia took a snowman cookie tentatively. The snowmakn lantern kinda freaked her out a little.

Maia smiled a little "I think its the smile" She said as she bit a cookie.

"Most likely," he responds, grabbing paint and a mason jar.

Maia stared a minute longer at the finished snowman and grabbed her mason jar and paint. Sighing she went to her desk and tried to think of a 'less' evil way to make him look.

Piper starts making a snowman lantern, hoping it will distract her from thinking about what happened the night before.

"Hi," Boone says quiety.

Piper smiled politely at Boone. "Hi."

Allie smiles at Piper and begins making her own lantern.

She doesn't listen to the radio, so she has no clue that Piper was OMG SEX-AY doing anything weird last night.

Paige looks at the lantern and decides the word 'sinister' should really be used rather than 'adorable' but she gets the materials together to make a less scary one anyway.
