Study Hall: 12/8

Mac sits behind the desk reading Soap Opera Digest technical manuals. On a table he's set up coffee, bagles, and assorted pastries for everyone to partake.

"If you liked A Christmas Story, then you've gotta see How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Awesome movie."

"Oh, I definitely wanna see Deathscythe," John says. "And I'll probably be talking to my dad when the holidays get closer so I can ask about a tour and a visit and sending me some of their old equipment."

Duo nods enthusiastically and jots down the title. "Grinch, huh?" He grins.

Then his eyes sort of glaze over as they get huge. "Old equipment?!" He sort of squeaks. "Dude. That is. So cool!" He keeps nodding. "You're the best, man!"

"Yeah, the Grinch is awesome. It's a cartoon which makes it even more awesome because I love cartoons. Great stuff."

"And yeah, old equipment. They don't use all their stuff and sometimes it breaks so I'm sure I could swipe some. I mean, it would be wasteful to just junk it, wouldn't it?"

John makes a couple of notes to himself about asking his father and loaning Duo his copy of The Grinch if he could find it in his mess of a room.

"Cartoon? I love cartoons, too! Sometimes I used to catch Trowa watchin' the ones with that coyote. That was the best because then he'd leave in a huff and let me watch 'em in peace." He laughs.

"Dude, that is really the coolest thing ever!" He nods. "Yeah, and from what I know, the space programs are just overloaded with extra cash, so they prolly don't even use 'em for scrap metal! Definite waste to just junk 'em." He grins. "'Specially when there's guys like us around that would just love to take stuff apart! And I'm no risk considerin' I'm not even from this time period!"
