Language Classes, 12/08

All Classes: Use this time to work on your final projects. You may use the books and computer terminals in the room, or go to the library.

I expect a topic and a presentation date by the end of class.

The final essays are a real assignment. I need them to help me grade you guys, and the real deadline to either post something to the appropriate class thread or email it to me is midnight EST, Dec. 23. They should be 200 (or thereabouts) words on anything about the languages or cultures that we studied this term, plus a link to an appropriate graphic. While I would love for the 200 words to actually be your own, I understand that plagiarism can be your best friend. In which case, just don't make it blindingly obvious, 'kay? I'll put up a post in Dream's journal to track everyone's topics and presentation dates by the end of the day today. Email me if you still have questions.

Parker is hating French right now.

So she signs in, changing her project idea to Spanish, and how tango and flamenco evolved, and the differences in the dances as it traveled across South America. She goes to the library to study, for once, not help out with the library stuff.

Piper signs in and works on her project. She has decided to compare and contrast French and Spanish cuisine.

Lisa will be working with French. And will present on time. She nods to affirm this as fact. Swear to God.
