Grissom welcomes each class, and brings them next door to the A/V lab. He's obviously not feeling well, and leaves both classes a few times rather suspiciously as the students are ~~probably looking at porn~~ working.

Death and Dying

Each of you has been assigned a computer station. Please follow the link that has been provided to you.

I'd like you each to choose one presentation, and share your thoughts on what you read or hear with the class. Headphones are at the table near the front.

Remember to keep reviewing your course work for your upcoming exam.

Sociology of Deviance

First, please turn in the interview you did as part of your project. Remember, it is 25% of your grade. If you need an extension, please stop by after class, but you will be expected to continue with the other coursework.

Today in class, you will be asked to update me on your research. Computers are here for research purposes. I'd like to be shown at least one article, website, artifact, graphic, statistic, etc. that you will be including in your project, which will be due at our last class. This update will be included in your grade, and will give me a good idea on what direction your project is taking so that we can iron out any kinks, as it were, this week.

[ALL STUDENTS: Also, please stop by over here so you can give me input on your grade(s). If you don't comment by the time grades are due, I will assign you a grade completely on my own, which may not accurately reflect all of your gameplay, or at least what you intended. Thanks.]

Belthazor turned in a write-up of his interview with Becky Vartan ~~leaving out the part about Angelus not being his boyfriend~~, then sat in front of a computer to pull up some research. He kept a wary eye out for Angel.

Grissom flips through the interview casually and then tucks it into his briefcase for further review. "Good work. Did the note I provided you prove to be sufficient?"

Angel turned in a report on his interview with CJ (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomtownies/428691.html). He also shows Dr. Grissom this website (http://hirr.hartsem.edu/ency/deviance.htm) for his final paper.

He acts as though he is ignoring Bel.

"Actually, I never even had to show it to Phoebe," Bel said, grinning. "She trusted me."

Bel made sure his notes from the library were out of sight and watched Angel out of the corner of his eye.

Angel ~~in no way copying Marty~~ watched Bel out of the corner of his eye.

"I'm glad to hear that," Grissom replies in a fairly solemn tone. ~~"You lucky bastard."~~

Grissom reviews Angel's work quickly, and then frowns. "Okay. Everything seems to be in order and more than sufficient. Did you have any other questions?"

"No, sir. Thank you."

Marty reads the article on grief and bereavement and makes some comments on it.

"You feeling okay Dr. Grissom? I've noticed that you don't look your uh... healthiest today. Bad experience with an insect?"

"Well, she does have the ability to see the future," Bel said, laughing a little. "I suppose she thinks if I was up to no good she'd get a vision."

Grissom gives Marty a wry smile. "Insects only attack when it is in their best interest; it is wired into them biologically. They do not harm us out of some sort of emotional response, so it is unfair to lay any blame for their actions upon them. They are either provoked, or it is unfortunate luck on our parts. And no, I did not have a bad experience with an insect."

Finally, unable to resist, Bel glanced over to Angel and said, "Becky says hi. She's wondering when you're going to drop by again."

"Out of curiosity," Angel said, casually and without looking up from his paperwork, "how literally are you attempting to get into my pants - I mean, fill my shoes?"

*Sara knocks on his office door a couple of times before walking in.*

*Without a word, she places a hand on his forehead.*

"There you go with that fantasy of yours again," Bel said. "But I suppose in some ways I have filled your shoes. Been fun getting to know Darla a lot better."

Grissom cracks a smile. "Just so you know, even the ones who can't see the future? Know when you're up to no good."

"I know for a fact you aren't big enough to fill those shoes."

He sounds slightly annoyed, and definitely fatigued. "Sara... it's late. What are you doing here?"

Yes. It is late. And I was going to ask you the same question. *Snarky but concerned.*

Whatever you're doing can wait until tomorrow, Gil. Come on--both of us need rest.

He sighs through his nose, and then gets up, a bit shaky. "Okay," he says begrudgingly, throwing the strap to his bag over his shoulder and gesturing toward the door in a manner that isn't entirely chivalrous.

"I love it when you underestimate me," Bel said, laughing.

Well whatever it is it hasn't affected his brain

"Just making sure you weren't poisoned or anything. Did you not get your flu shot this year? Because you look a little run-down."
